The Curicó Valley Wine Route is an association of 14 wineries located in the valleys around the city of Curicó. A great majority of the wineries are family businesses of long-standing tradition, known for their passion and dedication to creating quality wines.
To promote Curicó Valley wines and divulge the quality of its wine production, the wineries in our association decided to create the Curicó Valley Wine Route and present Curicó Valley as the pioneering and largest wine producing region in Chile.
The Curicó Valley Wine Route, located less than 200 km south of Santiago, Chile’s capital, is a group of wineries dedicated to the promotion of this valley’s traditions by offering guided tours and organizing special events.
Our associated wineries have diverse characteristics which makes each one different from the other: from the largest export wineries in Chile with integrated technology management to small, family-owned traditional boutique wineries with a passion for winemaking.
Curicó Valley Wine Route offers the possibility of customizing your wine experience. There are private tours, guided by the winery’s enologist who will explain the winemaking process, answer your questions and give you an insight into the world of wine. The winemaker will offer guided wine tastings, and some wineries also offer olive oil tastings. In addition, visitors have the opportunity to visit the tourist attractions found in the city of Curicó or less than an hour and a half’s distance from the city’s center. Some of these attractions are Los Queñes, National Park Radal Siete Tazas, historic monuments and city tour of Curicó, Lake Vichuquén, National Reserve Laguna Torca lagoon, seaside towns Iloca and Duao.
