Puertas Vineyard is a family-owned company founded by José Puertas Pons in 1950. Initially, sales were aimed to grapes, bulk wine and maquila. Today, production has expanded to high-quality bottled wines. Bulk wine production is sold both in the domestic and foreign markets. The beginning the vineyard had 80 hectares and a 1-million liter wine cellar. Today, it has grown into some 650 hectares of vineyards and a 23-million liter wine cellar for processing the grapes that come from eight minor valleys located in Convento Viejo, Quilvo ( Teno River ), Barros Negros, Isla de Marchant, Tutuquén, Los Guindos, Palquibudis (Mataquito River) and Romeral.

Today we export to Germany, Belgica, Canada, China, Denmark, France, England, Japan, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland. Our main varieties are: Red / Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Pinot Noir. White / Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Verd, Semillon and Viognier.
