Visit and enjoy the wonders to be found in the city of Curico. Taste the wines produced in Chile’s largest wine producing region. We invite you to learn of the history and traditions of this area and some of the most important wineries in the country.
Below are our visitors programs, which can be customized to meet the interests of each visitor, as hours are flexible and there are several alternatives to explore both the natural environment and the heritage of this unforgettable region.
Why visit us?
The valleys of the Curico region can be found from the foothills of the Andes Mountains, across the subvalleys of Chile’s Central Valley and up to the Cordillera de la Costa or coastal mountain range. This extensive geographic area allows for a variety of privileged soils and climates and the possibility of planting a wide range of red and white grape varieties.
Our associated wineries have diverse characteristics which makes each one different from the other: from the largest export wineries in Chile with integrated technology management to small, family-owned traditional boutique wineries with a passion for winemaking.
The tours of our wineries will allow you to admire the beauty of Curico’s vineyards from impressive vantage points. You will also taste our internationally renowned Curico Valley wines, aged in century-old cellars, tour and photograph our vineyards, learn their history and visit some of the oldest family-owned Chilean historic country homes.
It is possible to customize your wine experience and have a private tour, guided by the winery’s enologist who will explain the winemaking process, answer your questions and give you an insight into the world of wine. The winemaker will offer guided wine tastings, and some wineries also offer olive oil tastings. In addition, visitors have the opportunity to visit the tourist attractions found in the city of Curico or less than an hour and a half’s distance from the city’s center.
The tour ends at our wine shop, located in our offices. Here visitors can buy many different vintages and varieties of the wines produced by our associated wineries.
Geographic diversity, grape variety diversity, tradition and modernity, interesting tourist attractions, all in one place: Curico Valley Wine Route.
